Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IDH3A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IDH3A data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher IDH3A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IDH3A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
STAD, SCLC, and LUAD are the cancer types where IDH3A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
