ID4

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ID4 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ID4 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 3 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher ID4 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ID4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and UCEC show a favorable association.

KIRC, UCEC, and BLCA are the cancer types where ID4 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
