Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ID4 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ID4 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher ID4 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ID4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LSCC show a favorable association.
UCEC, GBM, and LSCC are the cancer types where ID4 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
