Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ID3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ID3 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher ID3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ID3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA, LIHC, and UCEC are the cancer types where ID3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
