Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ICOS Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ICOS data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher ICOS Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ICOS expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC, COAD, and LIHC are the cancer types where ICOS Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
