Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ICA1L mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ICA1L data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher ICA1L mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ICA1L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and UCEC show a favorable association.

GBM, LSCC, and UCEC are the cancer types where ICA1L mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
