Across TCGA patient cohorts, HYKK protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 4,114 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible HYKK-associated genes across cancer lineages are ITGB2-AS1, WNT10A, and SPEF2. Each is linked with HYKK in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both HYKK-to-partner and partner-to-HYKK results are reported.
