Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HYDIN Mutation is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HYDIN data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher HYDIN Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HYDIN expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and STAD show a favorable association.

UCEC, COAD, and CESC are the cancer types where HYDIN Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
