Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HVCN1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HVCN1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher HVCN1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HVCN1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and UCEC show a favorable association.
STAD, SKCM, and UCEC are the cancer types where HVCN1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
