Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HTRA1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HTRA1 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher HTRA1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HTRA1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRP are the cancer types where HTRA1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
