Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HTR2A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HTR2A data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher HTR2A Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HTR2A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, ESCA, and KIRC are the cancer types where HTR2A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
