Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HTR1B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HTR1B data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher HTR1B mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HTR1B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and CCRCC show a favorable association.

LUAD, PDAC, and CCRCC are the cancer types where HTR1B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
