Across TCGA cell cohorts, HSPG2 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 5,430 significant associations in total. BLOOD_Leukemia shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible HSPG2-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Negative regulation of synaptic transmission, cholinergic, Cell-substrate adhesion, and Regulation of synaptic transmission, cholinergic. Each is linked with HSPG2 in more than 18 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both HSPG2-to-partner and partner-to-HSPG2 results are reported.
