Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HSPB1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HSPB1 data layer compared with 30 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher HSPB1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HSPB1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
STAD are the cancer types where HSPB1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
