Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HSPA8P20 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of HSPA8P20’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where HSPA8P20 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types HSPA8P20 is over-expressed in tumor.
COAD are the cancer types where HSPA8P20 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
