Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HSFX2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HSFX2 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher HSFX2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HSFX2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC and COAD are the cancer types where HSFX2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
