Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HS6ST1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HS6ST1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher HS6ST1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HS6ST1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD, ESCA, and PRAD are the cancer types where HS6ST1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
