Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HPGDS Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HPGDS data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher HPGDS Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HPGDS expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA, CESC, and READ are the cancer types where HPGDS Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
