Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HPDL Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HPDL data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher HPDL Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HPDL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUAD and UCEC are the cancer types where HPDL Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
