Across TCGA patient cohorts, HP1BP3 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 48 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible HP1BP3-associated genes across cancer lineages are eIF4E, ASNS, and ATM. Each is linked with HP1BP3 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both HP1BP3-to-partner and partner-to-HP1BP3 results are reported.
