Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HOXC12 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HOXC12 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher HOXC12 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HOXC12 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD, LIHC, and PRAD are the cancer types where HOXC12 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
