Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HOMER2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HOMER2 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher HOMER2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HOMER2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SKCM, HNSC, and BLCA are the cancer types where HOMER2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
