Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HOGA1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HOGA1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in acute myeloid leukemia (LAML), where higher HOGA1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HOGA1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA show a favorable association.
LAML, ESCA, and PRAD are the cancer types where HOGA1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
