Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HNRNPK Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HNRNPK data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher HNRNPK Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HNRNPK expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BRCA, THCA, and LIHC are the cancer types where HNRNPK Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
