Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HNRNPA1P29 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of HNRNPA1P29’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where HNRNPA1P29 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types HNRNPA1P29 is over-expressed in tumor.
KIRC, BRCA, and LUAD are the cancer types where HNRNPA1P29 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
