Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HMX2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HMX2 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher HMX2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HMX2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ACC are the cancer types where HMX2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
