Across TCGA cell cohorts, HMOX1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 5,196 significant associations in total. BONE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible HMOX1-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Plasma lipoprotein particle clearance, Heme catabolic process, and Pigment catabolic process. Each is linked with HMOX1 in more than 14 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both HMOX1-to-partner and partner-to-HMOX1 results are reported.
