Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HMGB3P8 RNA is linked to patient survival in 12 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated HMGB3P8 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher HMGB3P8 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HMGB3P8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ACC and LUAD show a favorable association.

UVM, HNSC, and LIHC are the cancer types where HMGB3P8 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
