Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HMGB3P1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HMGB3P1 data layer compared with 16 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher HMGB3P1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HMGB3P1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA and READ are the cancer types where HMGB3P1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
