Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HK1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HK1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher HK1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HK1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUSC, BLCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where HK1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
