Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HIVEP2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 30 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated HIVEP2 data layer compared with 11 for mutation status and 3 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher HIVEP2 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HIVEP2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and KIRC show a favorable association.

SKCM, KIRC, and MESO are the cancer types where HIVEP2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
