Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HIVEP2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HIVEP2 data layer compared with 30 for mass-spec protein and 11 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher HIVEP2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HIVEP2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC show a favorable association.
CCRCC, LUAD, and PDAC are the cancer types where HIVEP2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
