Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HIPK4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HIPK4 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher HIPK4 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HIPK4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as OV show a favorable association.
HNSC, OV, and SKCM are the cancer types where HIPK4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
