Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HINT2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HINT2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher HINT2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HINT2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BRCA and ACC are the cancer types where HINT2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
