Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HIGD1AP6 RNA is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated HIGD1AP6 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher HIGD1AP6 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HIGD1AP6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as READ and THYM show a favorable association.
KICH, KIRP, and LIHC are the cancer types where HIGD1AP6 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
