Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HIF1AN RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated HIF1AN data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 8 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher HIF1AN RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HIF1AN expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and KIRC show a favorable association.
ACC, LIHC, and UCS are the cancer types where HIF1AN RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
