Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HIF1AN Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HIF1AN data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher HIF1AN Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HIF1AN expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC and COAD are the cancer types where HIF1AN Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
