Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HHIPL2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HHIPL2 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher HHIPL2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HHIPL2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
LIHC and SKCM are the cancer types where HHIPL2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
