HFE

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, HFE mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,834 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible HFE-associated genes across cancer lineages are RN7SL575P, MIR16-2, and EXOGP1. Each is linked with HFE in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both HFE-to-partner and partner-to-HFE results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, RN7SL575P grouped by HFE-low versus HFE-high in SKCM.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (HFE→partner) and Y-score (partner→HFE) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
