Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HERC2P5 RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated HERC2P5 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher HERC2P5 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HERC2P5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and READ show a favorable association.

LUSC, KIRC, and LUAD are the cancer types where HERC2P5 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
