Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HELZ Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HELZ data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher HELZ Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HELZ expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LUSC show a favorable association.
UCEC, KICH, and UCS are the cancer types where HELZ Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
