Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HEG1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HEG1 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher HEG1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HEG1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
KICH, UCEC, and LGG are the cancer types where HEG1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
