Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HEATR3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HEATR3 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher HEATR3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HEATR3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
MESO, BLCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where HEATR3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
