Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HDHD2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HDHD2 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher HDHD2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HDHD2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BRCA, COAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where HDHD2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
