Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HDGFL3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HDGFL3 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in rectum adenocarcinoma (READ), where higher HDGFL3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HDGFL3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
READ, LIHC, and UCEC are the cancer types where HDGFL3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
