Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HCP5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HCP5 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher HCP5 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HCP5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA, KIRP, and SKCM are the cancer types where HCP5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
