Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HCG22 RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated HCG22 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher HCG22 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HCG22 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as THCA and HNSC show a favorable association.
KICH, OV, and THCA are the cancer types where HCG22 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
