Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HCAR1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HCAR1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher HCAR1 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HCAR1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
BLCA, STAD, and HNSC are the cancer types where HCAR1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
