Across TCGA patient cohorts, HBQ1 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 10 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible HBQ1-associated genes across cancer lineages are MIR3133, RN7SL44P, and MIR3678. Each is linked with HBQ1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both HBQ1-to-partner and partner-to-HBQ1 results are reported.
