Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HAS1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HAS1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher HAS1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HAS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC and COAD show a favorable association.
THCA, ACC, and DLBC are the cancer types where HAS1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
